Under the Apple tree, Rainbow Market, Highway 49 Starts on May 24th 2012

Howdy Apple Tree Jammers!

It’s that time of year again–Jeff’s busy getting the grounds ready, spring/summer is in the air.

Our first Thursday night outside jam will be May 24th, 5:00 til Dusk (8, 8:30 ish–til you can’t see your cheat sheets!)

We’ll be back to power, so amps & mics are fine, just set to a jam friendly level.

Chairs are always a good idea to bring (espec. armless) as there are limited chairs available.

And Maggie will have TACOs & TACO salads again!!!

ALSO, everyone expressed an interest in continuing Sundays 1-4 (except the 1st Sunday) upstairs at the National Hotel.
This is acoustic, there are plenty of chairs, free coffee, & come in the back way to avoid stairs.

Can’t wait to hear all of you & see what you’ve been up to!

Lynn

New Jam Location for Sundays

Until our first jam under the Apple Tree (maybe in May, we have permission to use the upstairs at the National Hotel in Nevada City.

Sundays from 1:00-4:00 (EXCEPT first Sunday of the month, which is the Mountain Fiddler’s jam)

We’re anxious to gather under the Apple Tree at the Rainbow Market on Highway 49 as soon as weather permits.

Hope to see some new faces in the audience and players.  REMEMBER, everyone is welcome, you don’t have to be expert in anything.  Just have a desire to play, learn and/or sing.

(Maybe have a new upright base player join us … (Leslie?)

Happy Spring!

Apple Tree Jam – Winter 2012

Winter Apple Tree Jam starts on Sunday, January 8, 2012 (& every Sunday)

Where: Sierra Coffee Roasters, 671 Maltman Dr, Grass Valley (See Map Below)

Time: 11:30 am til 2:00 pm (when they close)  Everyone Welcome

PLEASE NOTE:   This is now an ACOUSTIC only jam. (remember it’s a public place & it is requested we “hold it down”. So no amps or mics. Many of you have been hoping for this anyway!)

Also, it has been requested, (mandatory, actually) that some sort of purchase be made, even if it’s only a dollar coffee. This is required of all patrons that spend any length of time there, not just musicians. After all, it is a business for profit & they are generously offering their space & their warm winter creature comforts.

And a final reminder to please respect their new dance floor & treat it with care.

Really looking forward to seeing everyone there again in 2012!

Lynn & Steve Rutherford
